Travel, mishap, and adventure in a beautiful and bizarre world.

Travel Lists

Before you go travelling, it's important to know what to pack. From my experience, there's been a lot of confusion about this topic. So... Tada! Here's the Universal Packing List. (Note: It's not exactly universal. If you go to outer space, you'll probably need an oxygen tank and also a better jacket.)

Also, here's a sped-up video of packing a suitcase. Not everything on the following list is used in the video, but it's a good guide for when you're getting ready for a trip. To read more about packing your suitcase, click this link for my post on packing light. Anyway, here's the video (scroll down for the list):

(Generally, it's a good idea to have one case for electronics/chargers, one case for toiletries, one corner of your suitcase for shirts, the other for pants/pyjamas, the third for a nice outfit and socks, and the fourth for extra shoes/accessories. Put your two cases on top, along with a jacket or hoodie.)

What To Pack

1 nice outfit (dress shirt, pants/skirt)
1-2 pairs of jeans
1-2 pairs of shorts

I hope this helps...Remember that the number of clothing items (and which ones) you pack can be very weather-dependent, and also know that if you're travelling for shorter/longer periods of time, you'll need different amounts of clothes. If I forgot anything, leave a comment below! Thanks.
