Best Place to See A Big Bridge: Miallu Viaduct, France
The Miallu Viaduct is one of the tallest bridges in the world, built as a quick route across the Miallu Valley. Besides the viaduct, you can explore the Tarn Gorges and all the small towns along this massive valley. Overall, the south of France is a great region to spend a day in...

Best River to Not Fall Into: Canal du Midi, France
The Canal du Midi is a nearly 250km-long canal in the south of France. It's a great place for canal walks and runs, and in Beziers, you can watch the gigantic canal locks in action! and you can even rent a boat to take along the river! (Note: Boat we took was super slow. By slow I mean I could swim faster than it. And I'm a pretty bad swimmer.)
Anyway, click HERE for information and tips on visiting the Canal du Midi.
